Between 1577 and 1580 the Golden Hind circumnavigated the world making vital discoveries before returning home with amazing treasures.
This ship now offers a unique insight into life aboard a 16th century sailing ship.

The largest gallery of original paintings in the South West.
The Strand Art Gallery is situated in Brixham harbour side. It is a studio of many artists who paint outdoors in the summer around the harbour.
The gallery was founded by W H Stockman a marine artist, who's paintings are sold all over the world. He can be seen painting most days in the Gallery, or frequently on the slipway, entertaining the crowds as much as ever.
